Would you guys believe that I’m writing this review inside my gym. HAHA. It has fast wi-fi, a small cafe that sells different variant of protein shakes, and the ambiace reeks of machismo. Perfect for beauty writeups! LOL. Today we’ll be playing around with the Sleek Makeup Solstice Highlighting Palette (PHP 875 for 0.32 oz.). It consists of four highlighters–three powder, one cream. They’re designed as “highly pigmented metallic finishes” that give a “luminous sheen” on the “face and body.”

Ecliptic is a subdued, light-medium rose pink with warm undertones and a pearly shimmer-sheen finish. It has a cream texture than can be worked on as the base for the other shades. When used on its own it gives a every so slightly noticeable sheen on skin. The shimmer is very fine and barely noticeable.

Hemisphere is a cooler, pinky lavender with a luminous sheen. The texture is soft, but bit loose on the pan so be wary of fallouts. This can be used as all over highlighter for face and body.

Subsolar is a very light yellow with warm undertones and a pearly sheen.

Equinox is a bright, light-medium coppery peach with warm undertones and a metallic sheen. This shade is my favorite among the bunch. This is the most pigmented and last the longest. However, I do not recommend this if you have big pores as this will emphasize it.

Verdict: Sleek Makeup Solstice Highlighting Palette is an amazing find that won’t break the bank. It has 4 gorgeous shades you can play around, each with different textures and lasts for hours. I highly recommend this palette especially now that the Holographic Makeup will trend next year.
