L’oreal Color Riche in Courageous and Classic Wine
Left: Classic Wine Right: Courageous under flourescent lighting |
Top: Couragous Bottom: Classic Wine under natural lighting |
These lipsticks are sheer-buildable and when worn with just a layer, can be worked out as a lip tint since it doesnt give that much pigment initially.
Courageous is a very suitable name for the brown lippie as you need to be brave to wear something as bold as a brown lipcolor especially if you are fair, it kinda looked awkward on me and it looked like I put mud on my lips. I think this shade suits those in the morena or a bit darker spectrum.
While Classic Wine is a common strawberry red color that can be worn everyday but it’s nothing to talk about and there are a lot of similar colors already. Classic Wine is a great dupe for Chanel’s Rouge Allure Flamboyante which I also swatched and reviewed here.
Texture: Creamy
Staying Power: 3 hours max with eating and drinking, it doesnt bleed or feather so that’s a ++
Moisturizing: Yes, it left my lips feeling soft and supple. It has Argan oil, Vitamin E, and Omega-3
Scent: It’s a granny scent I abhor! Yuck yuck yuck, smells worse than Guerlain’s
Packaging: Encased in gold plastic, the tube seals up nicely without getting loose.
Will I buy again: Nope, but I hope someone gives me in another shade!
