L’Oreal Professionel SteamPod Experience : #HairRevolution
I’ve been doing a lot of weird stuff on my hair lately. I colored it 2x last year, had it chemically permed, and been styling it like crazy! And all that craziness did damage on my hair. Here are several pictures of me with dry and damaged hair 🙁 *sob* it used to be so nice and shiny even if it was flimsy. Yep there goes my bra strap Haha… Dry, “sensitized” hair I was so ecstatic when I received an invite for me to be one of the first to experience L’Oreal Professionel’s SteamPod. There are two types of services you can get from Bench Fix. One is the…
My First MUA/Stylist Experience
I’ve been practicing makeup artistry for 4 years now but I never did professional or paid gigs. Just favors for friends because I really enjoy doing it and seeing the “before/afters”. A couple of months ago, I did a shoot for my cousin’s prenup and helped with the styling and of course doing her makeup. It was the first time I did a gig outside metro manila and in a nature inspired shoot pa. ^_^To tell you honestly, I can understand the high rates of MUAs! It is not as glamorous as it seems. (It’s not, but it’s still fun) My clutter <3 My model barefaced After concealer, foundation,…

RIIR MaSaya by Oliver Tolentino : Designer Eco Bags Galore
My fave model.. sya lang simple magpose pero ang lakas ng dating parang yung bag lang They’re designer bags for a cause! RIRR aka Rags 2 Riches collaborates with famous fashion designers from the Philippines to create fabuloso designer pieces made of eco-materials and getting the services of the women of payatas. It’s too good to be true right? An eco bag + charity + high end fashion designer. Oh did I mention the bags are not too pricey themselves? Yeah, I was expecting people to shell out 20k+++ for this uber cute clutch bag but what do you know, the bags are all less than 5,000PHP at Rustan’s. Kaya major hoarding yung…
Zombadings Review
Zombies + Badings (Gays) = Zombadings! We watched Zombadings and I feel happy that somehow, people are appreciating indie films more. Theyre probably tired of the formulaic mainstream movies by big productions like star cinema, viva, regal, gma films, to name a few. Where it’s either drama, romantic comedy, horror that is written ever so similarly and even if there are “plot twists” you can still predict what’s going to happen. Zombadings is a well told “coming of age” movie wherein Martin Escuderro aka Remmington did an excellent job in portraying a straight guy slowly evolving into gay-ness. It also helped a lot that there are subtitles whenever Beki-speak is used so people…

It typically involves playful and grotesque imagery, taboo topics, extreme or absurd environments, and is traditionally performed in white body makeup with slow hyper-controlled motion, with or without an audience. There is no set style, and it may be purely conceptual with no movement at all. Its origins have been attributed to Japanese dance legends Tatsumi Hijikata and Kazuo Ohno.
