When it comes to applying makeup, I’m your typical lady who wants it fast, easy, and look as natural as possible. No Makeup Makeup. In a tropical country like the Philippines, where it is humid and mostly raining, packing on tons on your face and looking all made-up even during the daytime can be a chore. Some girls like to look natural, yet cover our small imperfections like a pimple here, an eyebag there, dull skin everywhere.  Today, I’ll be sharing with you my “Natural” look via a VLOG!

Products Used + Quick Review

A new resident in my makeup kit is the new Maybelline BB Cushion  after finishing another pan of NARS All-Day Luminous Powder Foundation. I’m trying to save up money so instead of buying another refill that costs like 1,300php, I decided to try this new bb cushion and I’m surprised! I had low expectations of this product because it’s so cheap (599PHP) but it really works in a tap-tap-tap.

It covered my skin’s redness, the sponge is soft and distributes the exact amount of product you need, it controls oil, and it lasts super long.

I recommend the shade Natural because it’s perfect for our Filipina skintones. Swatched it on my arm on the photo above.

Farewell to my Happy Skin Feeling Sculptacular (because it’s expired na LOL) and say hello to the only makeup palette you’ll ever need. Pixi Beauty Minimal Makeup Palette (you can get it at glamourbox.ph) has 3 eyeshadows, 1 blush, 2 bronzers, 2 highlighters that you can mix and match.

Going loca over local with KMJ’s Lip and Cheek Tint that you can get from @amore.beautyscentsation at instagram. The shade Bittersweet Magenta is a deep red with hints of pink and purple. It looks blood red to me. They have other shades too, which is nice kasi most tints come in a singular red color.

I would’ve sold this if not for Yuki! She told me this works wonders and it does! It’s the PERFECT setting powder. I don’t know why it’s called a primer because I tried to use it as such but it just dried out my face too much that it made blending liquid makeup dificult.

If you have oily skin, you definitely must try this. Banila Co’s Prime Primer Finish Powder sets everything in place. It blurs pores and leave skin velvet matte.

Dual purpose products are sweet! Eye of Horus dual brow pencil stays on until you remove it.  It has a pencil on one and end setting gel on the other for brows on fleek. Always.

If you want a bit more “oomph” on your “no makeup makeup look” Sooper Beaute’s So Matte Lipstick in Hydra is a nice warm MLBB (my lips but better) shade that despite the matte texture, keeps lips soft.
