Addicted to Bubble Teas?
Now if you’re like me who drinks the largest size of bubble tea almost everyday, beware. I just learned from
http://www.infobarrel.com/8_Drinks_That_Will_Make_You_Fat that Bubble Tea tops the list as the number one drink to make you fat/obese. Considering these bubble tea shops are popping everywhere in our country from Gong Cha, Cha-Time, Happy Lemon and Serenitea to name a few (oh they’re my faves).
Guess it’s okay to indulge in this drink once in a while (like once a week at MOST) but it’s hard to kick out of the system as it’s sooooo gooood.. 🙁 It’s okay to eat everything as long as it is in moderation

How do we try to lower the carbs/calories.. Hmm maybe lesser sugar? Use splenda? Lesser tapioca balls? and that 12 oz is the smallest size mind you. I sometimes drink the 22oz bubble tea (1,000 calories on a drink alone!)
A healthy alternative would be steeping your own black tea and putting a low-calorie creamer + honey to sweeten it. I haven’t perfected the brew but I hope I will.

ouch!this is my fave too. but i only drink once a week with 12oz of regular milk tea. since i'm on a diet,i'll cross this out on my favorite drink list. thanks for the info

Yeah and after I posted this I went to Gong cha and had the jumbo size of their house special wintermelon alisan tea with extra cream
