Avon MARK Epic Lip Lipstick in Nude Attitude (Review, Photos, Swatches)

Howdy everyone! I missed giving detailed reviews on makeup so I’m giving it a comeback! Today we’ll be reviewing the NEW Mark Epic Lipstick from Avon. This sub-brand has already been a staple in other countries but just officially released here in the Philippines this 2018. The shade that I have “Nude Attitude” is from a press sample.

Description

First lipstick with built-in primer. More color pay-off covers lips with pigment-packed color. Smooth color in 1 swipe. Glides on smoothly and evenly. Color that lasts. Impactful color. Stays put for hours.

Review

First of let’s start with the packaging. The product is enclosed in a snap case that’s made out of plastic but secure. It has a decorative white font all over the black background. Making it look millenial-friendly.

Formula is creamy, opaque, and has A LOT of slip. I’m assuming this has more emolients than most lipsticks.

Color selection locally is currently 12 shades. I got the one in Nude Attitude which is a pale peach that almost looks like a concealer. This cannot be used as a “base” shade because of its oily texture and best worn alone. It’s too pale for my complexion and isn’t flattering at all. Too bad because I’m leaning towards the formula

Staying Power is also so-so. As it slide off as soon as something touched my lip. A few bloggers mentioned that performance differs depending on the lipstick color.

Over-all Mark Epic Lips is are lipsticks that have incredibly comfortable formulas with intense color pay-off. I’m looking forward to try this in another shade.
