Cosmo Beauty Block is back & bigger than ever!
Article written by our #ClubKikay member Marie Bernadette Quilala
Now on it’s 3rd year, it was held last August 25 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City where Cosmo Girls and their squads tried and shopped the latest products, copped the hottest looks at the sponsors’ booths, and learned about life lessons and the latest trends from the experts.
CGs were all ears when this year’s panel shared their beauty secrets and revealed the ins and outs of the beauty industry through their fun, informative talks. What’s a beauty convention without them, right?
Other guests include Maui Taylor for IN2IT Cosmetics, who shared tips on how to stay fab and look forever young, Kryz Uy for Creamsilk, who talked about her favorite hairstyles & Say Tioco for Revlon who did a makeup tutorial using Revlon’s Instafilter Foundation & other their products.
Unlike the first 2 Beauty Block events wherein interested participants were invited to register for free, this time this year it was ticketed. Php 300 for VIP and Php 100 for General Admission. Perks are as follows:
What got me more excited were the concessionaires! A wide variety of skin care, make-up products, even accessories were proudy PH! (As much as possible support local!) Most brand partners even sold products at unbelievable sale prices!! The fair wasn’t simply about selling products, but to also encourage everyone to celebrate their beauty through workshops & heart-to-heart talks with beauty gurus that are widely-known on YouTube and the beauty industry in general.

Of course the highlight of that day was Heart Evangelista-Escudero, who graced the event as this year’s main celebrity speaker. VIP ticket holders were given the chance to meet and greet her after the segment.
