Maybelline Creamy Matte Lipstick Review

Matte lipsticks are all the rage these days. For one, it’s not sticky, it lasts longer than glossier lip colors, and it looks more natural. I had the opportunity to try Maybelline’s Creamy Matte Lipsticks and I’d love to share you all the photos, swatches, and my review. For a matte lipstick it’s surprisingly moist. I currently own the shades: touch of spice, divine wine, and vibrant violet.

Packaging – It’s plastic and a bit flimsy. The cap also detaches easily. Did you see my Vibrant Violet chipped off? LOL

Coverage – quite pigmented. good coverage for the price

Staying Power – Lasts a good 4 hours without drinking/eating

Shade/Finish – It’s more creamy than matte.

Texture – It feels matte and grainy. Surprisingly it kept my lips soft

Scent – The lipstick smells like play-doh

Will I re-purchase? Only the shade “vibrant violet” It’s quite rare for a lipstick to apply as a true-violet when applied on lipsFinal Thoughts It’s pretty cheap at 299php per tubeRating: 3/5
