Gah.. one of my skin pet-peeves are clogged pores. Not only do they look bad in photos, it’s itchy and annoying. We are susceptible to clogged pores all the time because of the products we use on our face; makeup, moisturizer, sunblocks. You’re tempted to squeeze it am I right? Squeeze the whiteheads, blackheads, and dirt. However, squeezing comedones can do more harm to our skin than good. It will make our pores even bigger, and worse an infection that will mutate your simple

clogged pore into a full-blown pimple with pus (nana! ewww)

As I’m browsing my favorite korean beauty on-line store Althea Korea Philippines, I spotted on of their best-sellers and caught my curiosity. The Black Pack Cleanser. Read until the bottom for the honest to goodness detailed review!

Packaging – It’s in a squeeze tube with a twist-off cap. This type of packaging ensures that no product goes to waste as we can squeeze until it’s empty, unlike when it’s in an unsanitary jar. Love love love.

Texture – Thick, like toothpaste.

Scent – Clay, herbal, minty

Does it work? YES. I have 2 cystic pimples on the left side of my cheeks, near my nose (TMI alert!) and because I have an upcoming photoshoot this week (as of writing this) I’m in a terrible rush to get rid of them. I cannot use Kati-Alis on this case because it would make my face dry and scaly.  After 3 consecutive nights of using the Black Pack Cleanser, I’m amazed on how it shrunk the pimples to whitehead size and I’m crossing my fingers it will disappear in a couple of days.

Will I buy again? YES

Final Thoughts – It’s addicting to use. It’s like my go-to product now when I feel my skin is getting clogged from all the makeup or sunblock we put on in the morning. It’s also my default emergency face mask!
