[Update] What’s Happening?
Is it a bad case of writer’s block? Have I been to busy to blog? Am I too lazy to update? I’m sorry everyone 🙁 It’s all of the above. I’ve been busy, lazy, and having a bad case of writer’s block even if I got tons of pictures already uploaded and articles to post (but not yet written) First, I’ve been busy with my “career”. I’m never been happy with my current job and in my opinion, one should be happy and satisfied in his/her field in order to work well, and not the other way around. I’m thanking God that he gave me an opportunity to have a fresh start, a…

Project 50 : Finish at least 50 books in a year
I’ve been enjoying reading books, than watching TV or movies lately. It’s basically entertainment, anywhere you want it. Also, never was a fan of those e-book reader thingies. Convenience it is alright, but nothing beats the pleasure of smelling paper, glue, ink, and flipping the pages of your hard bound or soft bound books. I was inspired by a topic in the literary forum of Pinoyexchange.com in where people made a resolution that they would at least finish 50 books before the year ends. I started this January and I have finished 3 books so far and reading my fourth. Here are the books: A classic favorite. Makes you want to read it…

Are You Brand Conscious?
For my dearest readers: Do brands matter to you? Whether may it be on cosmetics, clothes, bags or shoes. Do brands matter to you? I’m really curious on what you guys think on this issue. There are some people I know who are brand conscious. That they depict that the pricier the brand, the better the quality and vice versa. I have a short story to tell you, it’s up to you to guess what brand this is (but I guess girltalkers know since I posted my sentiments on this one on a forum): Once there was a certain clothing brand, that catered to women young, and young at heart alike. They…

Happy Heart’s Day Everyone.. and a Short Letter..
A note to my loving husband.. there are a lot of memorable things you did, that makes me really happy and makes me feel blessed to have a husband like you.I would never forget the time when I recently gave birth to Geof, and was not allowed to take a bath for a while (gross I know) because of old-wives tale, and Being an obedient daughter-in-law, haha I didn’t. I just wiped myself clean. Although my hair, was never shampooed. Because it was told that one will go crazy when a woman takes a bath within the month after she gives birth (crazyyy customs I know!). I was feeling depressed ,with the post-partum…

The Truth About Foundations
That doesn’t mean that it’s “water based.” water is usually the first ingredient in most makeups, weather they’re silicone based or water based. Not all water based makeups are bad, just the ones that use soap systems as the primary emulsifiers. When I say silicone based or water based I’m referring to the phase that’s on the outside of the emulsion. If water’s on the outside it’s a water based or “oil in water” emulsion. If you see stearic acid and triethanolamine on the indredients it’s a soap system, and probably has a high pH. If has polyacrylamide, C13-14 Isoparaffin, and laureth-7 in the ingredients than it’s polymer stabalized and should be fine. Usually water based makeups use…
