Eyebrow Embroidery at Pretty Looks

Eyebrow embroidery is semi-permanent pigment that’s pushed into the surface of the skin with a fine blade to mimic the growth of your already existing hair (if there is any, that is) and create bolder, natural-looking brows. I finally decided to get semi-permanent eyebrow tattoo after MONTHS of consideration. Without makeup, I have a lot of eyebrow hair but they’re so thin I need to fill it in with pencil every time. C’mon, you girls know how much time and effort it takes to make sure our brows are always on fleek! Imagine waking up with perfect brows, everyday. It is possible.

Imagine waking up with perfect brows, everyday.

There are a lot of “brow artists” and “brow salons” that offer the eyebrow embroidery and after thorough research, I decided to head on to Pretty Looks. I mean, who can resist? Gorgeous girls like Arci Munoz and Ellen Adarna had their eyebrows done there. Sige if we’re not getting at leasst 50% of their beauty, at least we get to have the same eyebrows HAHAHAHAHAH

I got a combination of their S3 Eyebrow Stranding and Eyebrow Reborn. Stranding looks more natural but because my brows are so thin, it needs to be filled in with more color, thus the combination. Does it hurt? Well, it depends on your tolerance. They put topical anesthesia to numb the surface area. Sometimes there are spots that hurt, and it feels like cat scratches. You can go visit their website to see all colors and procedures available for permanent make-up. Oh, they also cater to MEN!

3D Eyebrow Embroidery Results and Maintenance

Right after the procedure, my mom told me I looked like Bert from Sesame Street LOL. I told her “Of course mom! It’s like a tattoo! It will look better once it heals!”.

Maintenance:

  • Do not scratch
  • Do not wash face 24 hours after procedure
  • Do not use any makeup on eyebrows until fully healed
  • Healing time can go from 2-3 weeks

After 2 weeks, it looks completely healed and I FREAKING LOVE IT. It saves up like 15 minutes of my make-up prep time and I don’t look like a naked mole rat when I wake up in the morning. It looks sooooooo natural! I don’t even look like I have eyebrow makeup on. It just looks like, I have perfect eyebrows. Pretty Looks recommends to go back after 6 weeks for retouch and make sure it looks just the way you want it to be. I’m pretty satisfied!

Eyebrow Embroidery usually lasts 2-3 years! That’s a long time and I say it’s worth it. Let me know if you had yours done na! ^_^ LOVE YOU GUYS!
