MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in LIGHT (Review, Photos, Swatch)
It’s my first time to try a MAC Powder Foundation. I avoided using the brand at all costs due to horrific reviews on how it made them break-out. This one however, I gave a shot because compared to their regular powder foundation, MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in LIGHT claims to be dermatologist-tested to be safe for most skin, and has 77 minerals for additional skincare benefits. I just emptied another pan of my NARS Fiji and thought to myself, okay why not give this a try?
Product Description

REVIEW
Packaging- It’s bulky. It comes in round black packaging that holds the product encased with a mirror. It doesn’t have any sponge or brush container that comes along most powder makeup.
Formula- The powder is very soft and is easy to find the right shade for you. It’s very fine and adapts well upon application. I have acidic skin and this did not turn orange on me so that’s a ++
Wear/Look– When I apply this over my foundation it sets it well and keeps the shine at bay on my face, it can look chalky, fake/cakey or too powdery if I apply far to much. I would say that it doeskin stay all day for me, but I don’t feel the need to reapply, mainly because I don’t have time or I can’t be bothered.
Price– 2,300php I wish I bought a refill of my favorite NARS All-Day Luminous Foundation instead.
Overall – I’m not sure if I will be repurchasing this, I don’t think I will. Its a shame because I really loved this when I first purchased it but now I’m not so sure. I think after I’m done with this I’m going back to NARS or try Estee Lauder, Bobbi Brown or Makeup For Ever.
