Kutis Koreana? Is it achievable? YES. With the right products and skin care regimen. Let’s face it. Most whitening soaps that include “kojic” in their ingredients sting! But there are a few exceptions and we’re going to talk about it today. Seoul White Korea Double White Whitening Soap. Whew, that’s a whole lot of the word “white“. I discussed about how I no longer want to be fair in one of my previous posts (READ: Ayoko na magpaputi). When what they really meant was brightening and that’s what I want my skin to be. • Cocos Nucifera Oil – A moisturizing soap base
• Sodium Hydroxide – Soap base
• Fragrance
• Talc – Gives that temporary “whiteness” after bathing
• Glycerin – Seals in moisture
• Kojic Acid – A known ingredient to inhibit melanin formation and exfoliate skin.
• White Strawberry Extract – Has high amounts of vitamin C
• Alpha Arbutin – A premium ingredient for skin brightening
• Arctostaphylos UVA URSI Extract – Plant that contains high concentration of arbutin
• Kojic Berry – is the combined whitening powers of arbutin bearberry and tried-and-tested kojic acid that lightens the complexion without any irritation or sensitivity.

REVIEW: Seoul White Korea Double White Whitening Soap

Packaging – It’s sealed for safety! Comes in different sizes and packs. I like the 60g ones for travel

Feel – Smooth and produces enough lather. It surprisingly DOESN’T STING despite having kojic as it’s main ingredient. Wow.

Scent – New to my nose, it exudes lovely scent of fresh strawberries.

Does it work? YES. I’ve been using this soap for a little more than 3 weeks now and my skin has been noticeably glowy and smooth. You can see its effects as early as Day 1. After my first use, I notice a lot of dead skin and mini flakes rubbing off my body. It’s powerful enough to remove dirt and dead skin but gentle enough to do so without the sting.

Final Thoughts

If you’re looking for a gentle brightening soap then I highly recommend this one. It’s ingredient list are simple yet premium. The formulation is amazing and feels so good to use. Unlike most soaps that causes us to “tiis ganda“. YES I will buy this again, and will probably added to the list of my favorites!
