Orgain Organic Protein Drink

You may or may not know this, but most, if not all protein drink supplements taste BAD. Some doesn’t dissolve entirely and you have to gulp the chunky yucky powder , while others tastes like chocolate flavored cement. But of course as a true-blue body-building, strength wielding, fitness enthusiast, pro-wrestler in training like I am, my search for the Best Tasting Protein Shake will never end. After YEARS of conquest I finally found a brand that I can whole-heartedly feature on my blog. Let’s get to know Orgain Organic Protein Drink

This is not a sponsored post (I wish LOL), and purchase my whey from my own wallet. See my Wendler 5-3-1 Work-Out Plan and my Project Sexy Fitness Program. I get these from Healthy Options at around 200php per bottle.

Who is Orgain? What makes their Protein Special?

Most protein powders are made from synthetic formulas. Orgain Protein Drink, however, takes a different approach.

Orgain aims to be the world’s best organic plant-based protein powder. It does this by putting 21 grams of USDA certified organic plant based protein in each serving. That protein comes from natural plant materials like brown rice, chia, hemp, and pea protein.

Why is plant-based protein so important? Well, plants are one of the few non-dairy sources of protein available in nutritional supplements. Whey and casein protein, for example, are both dairy byproducts (whey is actually the liquid material created as a byproduct during the production of cheese).

25g Orgain Organic Protein Shakes

Orgain markets this shake towards bodybuilders. Each shake contains 25 grams of organic protein along with 150 calories and 3 grams of carbohydrates. There are two flavors: vanilla bean and creamy chocolate fudge. The protein is made from milk protein concentrate and whey protein concentrate. These shakes are designed to support lean muscle growth while fueling athletic performance.

Kikaysikat Says: You’re going to love the taste of the Orgain Protein Shake. My favorite is Creamy Chocolate Fudge. This is the workout supplement to take right after going to the gym. Maybe to accompany any carb-loaded meal because this baby has a whopping 25g. It doesnt have solid chunks, it comes from a recycled carton box making it environment friendly.

Original Organic Nutritional Shake

The original Orgain nutritional shake claims to be the “world’s first doctor developed ready-to-drink nutritional shake.” The shakes are also certified organic, although unlike the protein powder, they’re not vegan. They do, however, contain fruits, vegetables, and 23 vitamins and minerals. Each shake delivers 16 grams of organic protein from a whey concentrate blend. There are four different flavors, including creamy chocolate fudge, sweet vanilla bean, iced café mocha, and strawberries & cream.

Kikaysikat Says: I love that this is essentially a complete meal in a bottle. Carbs, Protein, and Fat perfectly balanced PLUS vitamins and minerals that we need. I can drink this every day if possible. My favorite is the sweet vanilla variant. The protein is plant-based. The Orgain Nutritional Shake tastes better than their Orgain Protein Shake. Maybe because it has less whey and more yummy plant goodness? It’s smoother to drink and light on the stomach. I find this is perfect for busy people on-the-go.

Final Thoughts

I drink a bottle usually right after working out, and when I’m lazy to bring my own shaker-cup. I just grab a bottle whenever I have supply and chug it like a muscle-maniac. Okay, I am a hard-gainer so it takes so much time for me to build muscle but someday, I will be the strongest version of myself, inside and out. I hope I can inspire my readers to be the same! So let’s start by incorporating more protein in our diet.
