Hello #MachoFam! As a mom who’s focused on staying fit and healthy, I have downloaded different health and fitness software. From tracking my diet,  period, and gym progress in check. There were some duds that were useless. But there are some that are really worth the download. So I’ll be sharing with you my top 3 health and fitness apps on Android that I actually use! (and you may love too!)

#3 Sarasoft FiveThreeOne for Wendler 531

What’s to love?

When I was just starting out with my Wendler 531 routine, I had to do everything on paper. Computing my current weights,  and the entire workouts on a notebook. This app does everything for you! You simply have to log-in your weight and current 1 rep max. It automatically computes how you should start and how you increase depending on your progress weekly.

It even has several templates you can choose from depending on how tight or free your schedule is!

#2 Period Calendar

What’s to love?

While there are a lot of Period Calendars our there, this one’s pretty accurate. It more or less predicts when my next period is going to be with around 90%-100% accuracy! You can also see when’s your most fertile days and note all your symptoms.

Best part? It doesn’t have crazy advertisements even if it’s free!

#1 My Fitness Pal

What’s to love?

Okay. I’ll admit. I have a love/hate relationship with My Fitness Pal. It’s usually the time when I tell myself “Okay tomorrow is the day I’ll start tracking what I eat“. Then a few days later you delete the app because you’re too weak to keep up. You go back (err.. I go back) to eating junk again.

It has a HUGE DATABASE OF FOOD so it’s not going to be a challenge to log-in what you eat. If it’s not available there’s an option to add too. It not only counts the calories you eat but also the macro split (protein vs carbs vs fat) of your food. Making it perfect if you’re into Keto, Paleo, or Intermittent Fasting.
