Review: 3 Workout Supplements I’m Taking

Hello ladies and gents! Today, I’ll be reviewing the 3 workout supplements I’m currently taking; Buff Bake Protein Cookie, 1Up Whey Protein in White Chocolate Mint, and Muscletech Platinum Multivitamin. I’ve been seeing a lot of body shaming posts cloaked as “body positivity“. No, body positivity is not an excuse to live an unhealthy lifestyle. Stop making #bodypositivity an excuse to live an unhealthy lifestyle. Stop using body positivity to shame women who are too thin, too fat, and too much everything. No body is perfect. Appreciate all #shapes pero don’t neglect your health. For a strong foundation, you can start with thee 3 workout supplements.

3 Workout Supplements I’m Taking

BUFF BAKE PROTEIN COOKIE IN CHOCOLATE DONUT

No kidding. This has got to be the best tasting protein snack I’ve tried. I went on a quick trip to Nutrition Depot Ph to scout some new bodybuilding goodies and I found these babies near the cash register. The pink packaging and the rainbow frosting got me. It costs 150php/piece. I also got other flavors but so far only the Chocolate Donut wins in the taste department. A serving has a whopping 16g of protein (but also 12g of fat so be careful) but it tastes sinfully satisfying. Instead of grabbing a chocolate donut that’s all carbs and all fat, why not grab something with protein like this one. It’s also 100% vegan FYI

MuscleTech Platinum Multivitamin

I got this out of the blue. I’ve been looking for a good multivitamin that I can take regularly. MuscleTech Platinum Multivitamin has good reviews on MuscleandFitness (I trust the site so much). It says take it 3x a day with meals pero I just take 1 tablet a day after lunch. Why? Coz it’s 1,500php/bottle and a bottle is good for 30 days. Not only that, it has a high amount of green tea based caffeine. My body has a low caffeine tolerance and I don’t want to miss any sleep because of insomnia. I also bought this at Nutrition Depot Ph.

1UP Nutrition Whey Protein in White Chocolate Mint

PicMonkey Collakge

Let’s be honest here. Almost all protein shakes taste like crap. Hard to mix, chalky, has a silly aftertaste. But we still all drink it in for the gains. I’m still on a quest to look for a somehow tolerable protein drink and 1Up Nutrition’s Whey Protein in White Chocolate Mint is probably a decent example. It’s 1650php/2lbs. It mixes well, it’s not too think, it tastes minty. The con? It tastes freakin sweet. TOO SWEET. I noticed on the ingredients list that it has SUCRALOSE. This drink is too sweet for my tastebuds. Will still try another brand after finishing the tub. Maybe you have any suggestion?

Okay, that’s it for today folks. I got all of these from Nutrition Depot Ph located in 5th Floor Megamall B but this is NOT SPONSORED. I bought everything from my hard-earned well-spent cash.
